As a local body of Missionary Baptist Believers in Christ; with the Holy Spirit as our Keeper and the Holy Bible as our guide, lay claim to be the New Testament Church as presented in the Scriptures and shall be known as the Second Baptist Church of Bay City, Michigan.

As the Second Baptist Church, we resolve to support, sponsor and promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Mission, Evangelism and Christian Education (Matthew 28:19-20).

​

We further resolve to engage in ministries that meet human needs (Matthew 25:31-40) and will strive to minister to the needs of the spiritually and physically dispossessed.

​

As a ministry of edification and, with emphasis on love and service, we hope to realize the following goals:

• Saved lives through witnessing and preaching the gospel

• Empowered lives through teaching biblically-based principles

• Enriched lives through prayer and meditation

• Delivered lives through education aid and economical assistance and development
